Aurora - Launceston Office

We started the project in August 2024 and reach practical completion in December 2024. 

The floor area was approx. 900m2 and the scope of works included demolition of existing offices, new walls with a large focus on the acoustic ratings of the rooms with the client wanting to eliminate the sound transfer from the offices and meeting rooms while in use.  New amenities, joinery feature lighting and wall linings and a semi-automatic operable wall. 

Challenges for the project were timing, access as we were on the 2nd level of 33 George Street and noise restrictions as we had a fully occupied building and had to limit noisy works to out of normal working times for the other tenants. 

I was particularly proud of the team's effort on this project with a lot over extra hours worked to ensure we delivered the project on time and budget.
